Did you know that there is a Honey Bee crisis? Neither did we until Mortar’s favorite ice cream mentioned it…Haagen-Dazs has brought awareness to this cause by thanking the Honey Bees for bringing us such lovely delights as: “Cherry Vanilla”, “Rocky-Road” and “White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle”, who could live without such things? … Take a look … and while you’re at it, save the Honey Bees!

I am sorry to inform everyone that it is a scientific FACT, that cellphones’ and cell towers’ transmissions frequencies have disrupted the honey bees and actually make them disoriented. Once disoriented, they cannot make it back to their hives.
Thus, the bees die, the hives die. In turn, plants are not pollenated and they die.
And please do not use your cellphones extensively yourselves. It is now being proven that human exposure to these same frequencies are causing brain tumors/cancer and people are dying too.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But facts are facts.
    Godspeed Everyone,
    A Concerned Scientist

i think we should save honey bees cause the plants will all die and maybe trees will too AND WHEN THEY DIE WE DIE cause trees reduce air that we breath so lets help honey bees

CELL PHONE’S are KILLING ALL of the BEES. wake up people and SMELL THE POLLEN. it may be the LAST TIME FOREVER.
STOP USING CELL PHONES ON MICROWAVE FREQUENCY’S or JUST STOP USING CELL PHONE’S ALL TOGETHER. WE CAN ADAPT AND MODIFY OUR BEHAVIOR MORE READILY THAN THE BEE’S. PLEASE FOR THE BEE’S SAKE, OUR SAKE, OUR CHILDREN’S SAKE, SAVE THE BEE’S do your civic duty as shepherd’s of mother earth. save and protect the Bee’s there must be a way for us to live in harmony with the creature’s here on earth
if you dissagree please let me know and why at claypierce@earthlink.net

I JUST CELEBRATED MY 61ST BIRTHDAY ON APRIL 22, 2008. THANK GOD, I CAN STILL PASS FOR 44. WHEN I WAS ABOUT 8 AND MY BROTHER WAS FOUR, OUR NEIGHBOR HAD HONEYBEE HIVES IN THE BACKYARD. THIS WAS IN 1955. EVERY SUMMER MYSELF AND MY BROTHER STEPPED ON AT LEAST 30 HONEYBEES DURING THE SUMMER WHILE THEY WERE GRAZING ON THE GRASS AND FLOWERS AROUND THE TOWN. THE TRICK WAS TO PICK OUT THE STINGER AND PUT MUD ON IT IMMEDIATELY THEN IT WOULDN’T ITCH. MY DAUGHTER WHO WAS BORN IN 1985 STEPPED ON A HONEYBEE AND GOT A STINGER AND WE DID THE SAME PROCEDURE. BUT SINCE THE LATE 1990’S I HAVEN’T SEEN MANY HONEYBEES POLLINATING SINCE. THERE ARE STILL BUMBLEE BEES AND WASPS. SAD TO SAY NOT ANY HONEY BEES. THEY PUT UP CELL PHONE TOWERS IN ALL THE TOWNS (I GREW UP IN FAIR LAWN, N.J AND RAISED MY DAUGHTER IN THIS TOWN. FAIR LAWN OPPOSSED THE TOWERS) HONEYBEES ARE VITAL FOR OUR FUTURE PRODUCE. WE SHOULD GET COLLECTIVELY AND RAISE THIS IN CONGRESS (SINCE THEY ARE NOT AWARE OF “MINOR ISSUES” IN THEIR WORLD LIKE: HONEYBEES, GLOBAL WARMING, MELTING ICEBERGS AND CAPS, ETC.) HONEYBEES ARE AN ISSUE WE MUST ADDRESS IMMEDIATELY. THIS IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYOTHER ISSUE IN THE WORLD. IF BEES GO AWAY WE HAVE NO PRODUCE. IF WE HAVE NO PRODUCE (MYSELF AND MY DAUGHTER ARE VEGETARIANS) BUT THEN THE CATTLE THAT IS PRODUCED WHICH CREATES A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF GLOBAL WARMING CANNOT EAT….EVERYONE IS DOOMED. STOP EATING MEAT, SAVE THE BEES AND THE ENVIRONMENT AND KEEP THE EARTH FOR AT LEAST TILL YOUR KIDS CAN SAY CAN WE HELP WITH THE FIGHT. ITS NOT TOO LATE BUT IF WE LOOSE THE BEES IT MIGHT BE OUR DOOM……………

Kill your cellphone, help the planet survive…pretty simple. Do we all really need to be on the phone constantly? Are humans so incredibly important? No bees, no food-no food, no people. No people, no cell phones…hurray for the bees.
Despite the fact that I am allergic to bee stings, we are creating bee-friendly flower beds in our yard to encourage their continuing existence and survival. Most of us can put out a pot of soil and some seed packets of flowers that honey bees like…you’ll enjoy their company!
