Things you shouldn’t say when asking [any calendar editor] to publicize your event:
“Oh, you guys don’t just publish anything?”
“How long should the press release be?”
“We’d like to advertise, but y’know, for free.”
And the one that no one here has ever muttered angrily under their breath after hanging up with a snarky editor:
“Oh, so our event’s not cool enough?”
